Constipation refers to difficulty in passing stool as well as infrequent or incomplete passage of stool. Medically, constipation is defined as fewer than three stools per week and severe constipation as less than one stool per week. The underlying causes of constipation include effect of medications, poor bowel habits, low-fibre diets, drinking inadequate water, abuse of laxatives, hormonal imbalances and disorders that affect the colon. Regular consumption of junk food, lack of sleep, stress, tension and a hurried life also contribute to the condition.
Most gastrointestinal problems are chronic by nature and can keep on recurring. However, 'Naturoveda Health World' successfully employs a unique combination of Fundamentals of Ayurveda, Unani and Therapeutic Yoga – to provide effective and long-lasting results without any adverse effect.
